The hotel's rooms were spacious and comfortable, although they needed a thorough clean and the décor was very tired. At $110.00, the value for money was decent. The service staff were friendly and very helpful with dinner suggestions, but they could use some lessons in hospitality. The location was ideal, being near the shops in Tauranga Central and just ten minutes from the Mount Maunganui area. The dining was delicious, with fantastic chopped salads. The hotel offered limited facilities but was satisfactory for the price paid.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were freshly cleaned but felt a bit tired in terms of decor and furnishings. Nonetheless, it was a clean place with friendly staff. The service was great, although some amenities were not available as expected. The location was excellent for exploring Tauranga and Mount Maunganui, making it easy to get around. The dining experience was delicious with regional products on offer.
